The 2025 Walk of Champions will be held on Sunday, September 7 at the Dorchester Fairgrounds.  Website should be up and running in May.

Congratulations to all participants, volunteers and donors!  The 2024 Walk of Champions held on September 8 raised $125,594 for Myeloma Research in London.  A total of $1,222,550 has been raised since the walk started in 2009.

Beneficiary: Myeloma Cancer Research 
​The Walk of Champions is the London and District Myeloma Support Group's major annual fundraiser. All the proceeds from the annual walk go to the London Regional Cancer Program (LRCP) for Myeloma Research. The monies are used to fund clinical trials of new myeloma drug therapies which are vitally important for all myeloma patients. For myeloma patients who have run the course of the standard approved treatments, access to a clinical trial offers a lifeline. It also allows access to drugs that otherwise would not be available in Canada and/or the costs would be prohibitive. All the present major drug therapies including Velcade, Revlimid, Pomalyst came through the clinical trial process. Myeloma patients should donate to this cause ... it is a case of patients helping patients!
